Provide comprehensive legal services and representation to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. This includes offering legal advice via a statewide line, securing protective orders, and delivering stakeholder trainings.
Must be a graduate of an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Texas. Requires litigation experience in family or civil law and the ability to work compassionately with clients in crisis.

The Staff Attorney provides comprehensive legal services to TAP clients who are survivors of domestic and dating violence, child abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking. This role includes offering legal advice and referrals through the statewide legal line, securing protective and court orders to enhance client safety, drafting pleadings for pro se clients, and providing direct representation in civil matters. The Staff Attorney also supports victim advocacy efforts in coordination with law enforcement and the judiciary, assists with post-arrest legal support, and delivers trainings to stakeholders across Texas to promote best practices and expand TAP’s reach.

Qualifications
Salary range $70,000-$112,000.
