RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform COMSEC changeover, equipment check, pick-up, issue, and destruction.
Manage Type-1 bulk encryption and comply with COMSEC handling procedures.
Store, handle, operate, and destroy key materials according to established protocols.
Ensure compliance with DoDI 5220, NISPOM, and local SOPs for COMSEC handling.
Maintain physical possession and continuous attendance of COMSEC material.
Safeguard and transport classified information and material as required.
Maintain two-person COMSEC integrity when handling equipment and devices.
Ensure proper identification and destruction of scheduled KEYMAT canisters.
Conduct inventory of all KEYMAT prior to storage container re-locking.
Notify designated government personnel of any discrepancies or security violations.

WAGE INFORMATION
Target salary range: $48,000 - $125,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
