Job Description:
TD Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to North American businesses. Our broad range of products and services allows us to meet the needs of our clients in every sector, providing customized solutions to build a strategy that’s right for them now, and in the future. Our quest is to deliver a first class business banking client experience and to be ”The Better Business Bank” in North America. They have keen insight into all their clients – their industry, products, finances and markets. Better business bankers demonstrate good judgment in people, businesses and markets based on education, experience, “gut instincts” and “street smarts”.
As an associate your training will provide you with the platform for success to undertake the Manager Cash Management (MCM) role which is responsible for realizing the commercial bank’s product, deposit, and fee revenue growth targets. This is a mentorship training program where you will receive day to day support from an existing MCM who will oversee your program.
The Manager Cash Management (MCM) is a resident product expert, identifying and exploiting opportunities to introduce cash management and deposit products to our commercial banking clients. You are relied upon to add value to existing customer relationships by providing a package of services that will allow them to leverage the contribution of their deposit balances to the businesses bottom line while simplifying the accounting/management of cash flows and capital allocations across their organization.
In addition to mining one of the largest commercial customer bases in Canada, you will also be relied upon to provide a point of entry for TD to offer deposit and credit services to businesses currently being serviced by our competitors. You will participate in developing and executing a comprehensive cash management plan for the branch. On a regular basis you will conduct independent as well as joint business development presentations with commercial bankers and structure business proposals that will enable you to provide strategic and creative solutions for each customers unique cash management requirements.
Once a package of products has been selected, you will oversee the execution of the plan and the installation of product packages into the customer’s organization. Thereafter, you are relied upon to identify additional customer needs and communicate those to the credit relationship manager as appropriate. The position reports to the Unit Leader or a more senior Manager Cash Management in larger units.
