Candidates should have at least one year of related experience and the ability to safely operate cutting tools and equipment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with the physical ability to work in cold environments and lift up to 75 lbs.
Job Summary:
The Meat Cutter is responsible for preparing, cutting, and packaging meat products while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and customer service in a retail environment.
Cut, trim, debone, and grind meat and poultry to company standards.
Prepare and package products for display; fulfill custom customer requests.
Inspect products for quality and freshness.
Maintain proper inventory rotation and storage (FIFO).
Operate and maintain equipment safely.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitized.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
Ability to safely use cutting tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work in cold environments and lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
