Taco John's of Iowa's first restaurant opened on February 19th, 1973 which made it the first quick-service Mexican restaurant in Iowa. It was so new in the area that some of the first customers would ask for a "tay-co". Today, Taco John's has turned into the largest Mexican quick-service restaurant in America with 400 franchises in 25 states. Serving delicious original Mexican food with fresh handmade salsa and shells.
