You will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and automation of the physical infrastructure (underlay) for OpenStack components. Additionally, you will manage incident response, performance tuning, and provide 3rd-level support for critical internal systems.
Candidates must have professional experience in system engineering or large-scale IT infrastructure administration and deep expertise in Linux distributions. Proficiency in scripting, configuration management tools like Ansible, and modern CI/CD workflows is required.
Entwicklung und Implementierung skalierbarer, sicherer Systemarchitekturen sowie Bereitstellung und Wartung der physikalischen Infrastruktur (Underlay) für den Betrieb der OpenStack-Komponenten
Entwurf und Umsetzung Automatisierungs-Frameworks für Bare-Metal-Operationen inklusive Release-Management und CI/CD-Pipelines
Betrieb, Überwachung und kontinuierliche Leistungsoptimierung komplexer Infrastrukturen mit Einsatz unseres Observability-Stacks (Grafana, Prometheus)
Eigenverantwortliches Incident Management inklusive Fehleranalyse, Performance-Tuning und 3rd-Level-Support für kritische interne Systeme
Steuerung von kleinens Projekten sowie technische Beratung interner Stakeholder bei der Umsetzung spezifischer Architekturanforderungen
Sicherstellung der Systemzuverlässigkeit durch proaktives Lifecycle-Management und die Integration gängiger IT-Sicherheitsstandards (Hardening) in enger Abstimmung mit dem Security-Team
Relevante Berufserfahrung im System Engineering oder in der Administration großer, komplexer IT-Infrastrukturen sowie eine abgeschlossene IT-Ausbildung oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
Tiefgreifende Expertise im Betrieb von Linux-Distributionen (bevorzugt Debian) sowie gern mit Verständnis für Virtualisierungstechnologien und Netzwerkdienste (wie DNS)
Gute Kenntnisse in Scripting (Bash, Python) und intensiver praktischer Einsatz von Konfigurationsmanagement und Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Consul)
Praxiserfahrung mit modernen CI/CD-Workflows (GitLab), GitOps, Monitoring-Tools (Grafana Prometheus) sowie idealerweise relationalen Datenbanken (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Grundverständnis für IT-Sicherheitsstandards und Compliance (ISO 27001, BSI, C5)
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse
