The electrician will perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair tasks on underground mobile drill equipment and light vehicles. They are also responsible for training junior staff and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Candidates must hold a current Journeyman’s License and have 3–5 years of experience in the mining or heavy industrial sector. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and strong mechanical/hydraulic aptitude are essential.
Swick Drilling North America is looking for a highly skilled certified electrician to safely perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of underground mobile drill equipment and light vehicles. Must have the ability to understand and apply electrical theory in troubleshooting, demonstrate ability to apply math skills and comprehend, and interpret technical data sheets, schematics, blueprints, and instructional guides to the electrical trade.
The Field Electrical will assist with timely maintenance and repair on all surface and underground equipment on site, in order to ensure maximum quality and efficiencies are obtained.
Additionally, they will assist with training and implementation of specific diagnostic knowledge to operations and other personnel.
This position qualifies for a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
