Wright Directions is seeking highly skilled, mission-driven clinicians to join our growing behavioral health team. We are currently contracting for the following licensure types:
Psychiatrist • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) • Completed a psychiatry residency • Licensed by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners
Physician (MD or DO) • Licensed by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners
Psychologist • Doctoral degree in psychology • Licensed by the South Carolina Board of Psychology Examiners
About the Role
This is a 1099 contract position offering flexibility, autonomy, and a small, manageable caseload of roughly 10 clients. We intentionally keep caseloads low to ensure meaningful, effective care — not volume-based work.
Contractors may design their own schedule, which will be finalized together during the interview process to ensure it meets both your needs and client availability.
You will be partnered with a designated Crisis Management Provider, who delivers high-frequency, in-home services to clients. This provider functions as your “boots on the ground,” supporting real-time communication, risk assessment updates, and ongoing progress monitoring. This collaboration allows you to focus on high-quality clinical expertise while receiving structured, timely information that enhances continuity of care.
Services to Be Provided
You will provide the following billable services
Psychiatric Diagnostic Assessment with Medical Services (90892) Conduct comprehensive evaluations, establish diagnoses, and develop treatment plans with a whole-person approach.
Individual Psychotherapy, 52–60 minutes (90837) Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to each client’s needs, promoting stabilization, growth, and long-term wellness.
Crisis Management (H2011) Participate in structured crisis intervention planning in partnership with your crisis support provider, ensuring clients receive layered and responsive care during periods of instability.
Why Wright Directions?
We are a South Carolina-based organization dedicated to delivering high-quality psychiatric and mental health services to individuals ages 3–100. Our collaborative care model allows clinicians to focus on what they do best — providing exceptional clinical expertise — while being supported by a strong multidisciplinary team.
If you value autonomy, low caseloads, and meaningful clinical work without administrative overload, this is the perfect opportunity to make a difference while maintaining balance.
