The Counselor I provides treatment and support to clients recovering from addictions and behavioral problems. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, facilitating group and family sessions, and managing individual treatment plans.
An Associate's degree in a social or health services field and experience through an internship or practicum are required. Candidates must hold or be eligible for state counseling licensure and obtain CPR and de-escalation certifications.
