The Village Assistant ensures the safety and security of the village by acting as the first point of contact and responding to medical emergencies. Responsibilities also include performing cleaning duties, administrative tasks, and liaising with emergency services.
Candidates should be dependable individuals capable of making quick decisions under pressure and building rapport with residents. A full driver's license is required, and a current First Aid certificate is preferred.

We are looking for an exceptional Village Assistant to join our Milldale Village.
You will ensure the safety and security of the village and be ready to respond to any medical or emergency incidents that may arise.
You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all Village related matters whilst on duty and more importantly providing a visible, reassuring presence, and ensuring our residents feel safe and supported..

This is part-time fixed term role (until February 2027) and working a roster of: Sunday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
You’ll be someone who brings a calm, confident presence to the role—comfortable working alone overnight, capable of thinking on your feet, and able to make sound decisions under pressure without hesitation.
