Hello, I’m Katie, the Nursery Manager at Chesterfield.
I have been part of the Chesterfield team for over 15 years. Alongside my deputy manager, we bring a wealth of early years knowledge and lead a dedicated, long-standing team—all committed to providing the best care and learning experiences for our children.
Housed in a beautiful Grade II listed building, our nursery offers a true home-from-home atmosphere, where every child is warmly welcomed into a close-knit and nurturing environment.
We place a strong focus on connecting with nature through our outdoor spaces, which include a teepee, vegetable patch, sensory garden, and apple trees—inviting children to explore, discover, and learn throughout all seasons.

How you’ll spend your time here
You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.
Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments. You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.
We’d love to talk to you if you have the following
·An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
·Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
·Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
