You will perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on complex mechanical and electronic equipment at customer sites. Additionally, you will manage your own schedule to handle service calls, installations, and field upgrades while maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with at least four years of work experience, including two years in a technical or mechanical role. A valid driver's license and the ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements are mandatory.

The Equipment Service Technician (EST) is a remote-based Customer-facing employee, primarily supporting our Life Science Customers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, as well as providing installation support on complex mechanical, electromechanical and electronic units.
Individuals with experience working in HVAC repair, Mechanics, Maintenance, Refrigeration, Boilers, Chillers, Equipment Repair, Diesel and Automotive Repair, Aviation Repair, Plumbing, Electrical, etc. are often successful in this role.
This role requires daily travel by driving a company vehicle. If offered this position, STERIS will run a 7-year driving record check, as part of our onboarding process. An acceptable driving record generally means a driver has a very limited number of moving violations, accidents, or driving-related convictions.
This is a safety sensitive position. This territory covers the greater Knoxville area.

Here is a brief overview of what we offer:
Pay range for this opportunity is $55,250.00 - $65,000. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
