The Registration Clerk is responsible for greeting patients and managing patient flow within a hospital-based laboratory. They must accurately enter patient and doctor information into the system and coordinate with medical staff regarding specimen requisitions.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate strong computer and data entry skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities are required to maintain professional standards and patient confidentiality.

Greet and welcome patients.
Ensure patient flow by assisting patients in a timely manner.
Obtain patient information, doctor information and enter requisitions that accompany specimens to the lab.
Contact doctors for any missing information when needed.
This is a hospital-based Laboratory environment.
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Excellent computer skills, required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Previous customer service experience, preferred
Basic computer and data entry skills

This role will provide routine access to protected health information (PHI).
