Provide replacement shift coverage to ensure internal and external cleanliness across three shelter facilities. Duties include sanitizing common areas, performing seasonal outdoor maintenance, and operating commercial cleaning equipment.
Requires a current WHMIS certificate and experience with commercial cleaning equipment. A minimum of 3 years of commercial cleaning experience and a First Aid/CPR certificate are preferred or required.

About the Role
You will be responsible for providing replacement shift coverage on an as needed basis and ensuring the efficient and qualitative internal and external cleanliness at any one of the three Sojourn House shelter facilities. The shelters provide emergency shelter to refugees in a work environment where all stakeholders observe an integrated anti-oppression, anti-racist, access and equity framework.

Working Conditions
This position requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., including the movement of furniture, garbage bins, and maintenance equipment. Duties are performed throughout the building and exterior property and involve the use of commercial cleaning products and equipment
