The intern will perform hands-on inspection, disassembly, and assembly of mechanical seals while conducting failure root cause analysis. They will also support the sales and engineering teams with process application reviews and design calculations.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program with at least two years completed and be in good academic standing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and some CAD experience are required, along with the ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

The Customer Reliability Engineer Intern will learn critical knowledge needed to effectively represent the company at an in-plant site as a Customer Reliability Engineer. The role is designed to give a Mechanical Engineer student exposure to John Crane mechanical seals and related products through hands-on work. This is accomplished by working rotations in the Inspection/Repair, Maintenance, Assembly, and Engineering/Sales Departments.
This is a part-time (benefits eligible) year-around role with flexible hours based on school schedule.
Must attend school in the Port Arthur, Texas area.
