The Sidekick will provide comprehensive personal and professional support to the founder, managing everything from household logistics to business scheduling and CRM maintenance. This role involves acting as a proactive gatekeeper and administrative partner to ensure the founder's professional and personal life runs efficiently.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, possess a valid driver's license, and have their own vehicle. Proficiency in AI tools and project management software is required, along with a high level of emotional intelligence and organizational capability.

We're matching a full-time Sidekick based in JHB with a client who's juggling two big roles at once: a senior position at a consulting business by day, and the founder of his own venture on the side 🤯
This is a hybrid role, splitting time between his home base and his work base, so you'll be right there supporting him across both his professional world and his personal life. No two days will look the same, and that's exactly the point. This role is built for people who thrive on variety, stay effortlessly organised, and get a buzz from adapting on the fly.
Our client, Sechaba Oa Selialia, is the CEO of a Johannesburg-based venture-building studio, and honestly, he's basically running a small empire. Think commercial drone cleaning and pipeline inspection tech, a major seating deal at a live entertainment venue next to a well-known stadium, solar projects popping up across southern Africa, and an EV spares business getting ready for the electric wave. He's a former strategy consultant turned serial founder, the kind of guy who never forgets a name and treats every relationship like it matters (because to him, it does). The catch? Between a growing team, a house full of young kids, and a to-do list that multiplies overnight, even the best connectors need backup. He's on the hunt for a full-time hybrid Sidekick with serious emotional intelligence, a genuine interest towards sustainability, and enough AI-savvy to keep his inbox, CRM, and business coordination running like clockwork, plus the household stuff too: travel, gifts, property, family logistics, all of it. On the personal side, you could be helping with:
Sourcing and vetting childcare support, someone the whole family can trust
Keeping life running smoothly across his properties
Being the calm, capable presence behind the scenes so family time stays family time
Handling the personal admin that would otherwise eat into evenings and weekends
On the professional side, you could be working on things like:
Turning meeting notes into clear, actionable summaries with follow-ups tracked and chased
Managing scheduling and inbox tracking so nothing slips through the cracks
Liaising closely with his existing Finance & Admin support to keep things aligned
Updating and maintaining the CRM based on his instructions
Keeping tasks and projects organised in his project management tool of choice
Supporting the day-to-day running of his consulting work and his own venture
