Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items in an energetic kitchen while adhering to nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards. Work collaboratively with the team to provide exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences.

Requirements

Preferably three or more years of high-volume line cook experience with knowledge of basic cooking techniques. Must be physically capable of standing for 12 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and understanding the metric system.

Description

Saz’s State House Restaurant is looking for a part-time Cook to prepare and cook our delicious menu items in an energetic kitchen. This role will work alongside a fantastic team, ensuring all nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards are followed.

This is a part-time hourly position, with competitive pay rates depending on experience. Three (3) or more years of high-volume line cook experience strongly preferred, including knowledge of all basic cooking techniques and skills.

Requirements

  • Squat, kneel, climb ladders or step stools as needed
  • Grip objects and tools (including wet or slippery items)
  • Stand up to 12 hours at a time
  • Lift up to 50 lbs to chest level and up to 30 lbs overhead
  • Consistent, timely attendance
  • Understanding of metric system of measurement
