The Patient Access Representative manages patient registration, scheduling, and demographic verification to ensure accurate healthcare access. They are also responsible for collecting payments, coordinating referrals, and collaborating with nursing teams to meet patient needs.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with one year of experience preferably in a medical office setting. Essential requirements include strong customer service skills and a working knowledge of medical terminology.
