The Music Instructor provides weekly guitar and keyboard lessons while managing administrative functions for the Youth Music Education Program. They are responsible for creating lesson plans, tracking student progress, and preparing students for performances in a supportive environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in music education. Experience working with children and families is preferred, along with proficiency in basic music theory and instruction.
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the Music Instructor coordinates the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the Youth Music Education Program, including family engagement and program support. In partnership with families, volunteers, and Corps leadership, the Instructor promotes a welcoming and enriching educational experience that encourages student success, meaningful family involvement, and connection to the Corps community and ministry programs.
