Requires Grade 12 education and two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination. Candidates must possess medical terminology knowledge and the ability to keyboard at 40 w.p.m.
Summary
Responsible for registering patients in the computerized admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) system, processing preadmissions, admissions, and discharges, and coordinating bed assignments with clinical staff. Maintains patient registration records, generates reports, monitors bed availability, and performs related clerical and administrative duties to support efficient patient flow and hospital operations.
