About the Role:
The Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products throughout the warehouse and production areas. The Material Handler ensures that all materials are handled safely and accurately, supporting production schedules and minimizing downtime. By maintaining organized inventory and timely order fulfillment, this role directly contributes to the overall productivity and operational success of the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in material handling within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems or barcode scanning technology.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and follow all safety protocols.
Load & unload trucks as required
Create identification labels as required
Control raw material inventories using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method with computer system
Supervise blenders to use correct materials and keep work areas clean, as required
Ensure material is at necessary production points

Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with assembly line support.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and documentation.
Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends as needed.

Work overtime as required to meet production deadlines and shipping schedules.
