Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to children and young people while supporting their daily routines, education, and life skills development. Advocate for the young people's needs and ensure their voices are heard while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
Requirements
Candidates must have experience working with children or young people and possess a full UK driving licence with access to their own vehicle. An NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care is desirable, and all applicants must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

At Paragon Social Care, our vision is "Excellence Through Understanding." We provide 24/7 wraparound support for children and young people in local authority care during times of uncertainty and transition, creating safe, nurturing environments while helping them build brighter futures.
Your Role
Every day is different, but you will:
Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care
Build positive relationships and encourage healthy routines
Prepare meals, support education, and develop life skills
Advocate for young people and ensure their voices are heard
Support medical appointments and community activities
Transport young people using your own vehicle when required
Help them move confidently towards independence
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Patience, empathy, and resilience
Flexibility to work waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins when required
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
An NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

£20.00–£28.00 per hour Umbrella
