Responsibilities

Transport import and export containers between marine terminals, rail facilities, warehouses, and customers across the Northeast. Perform vehicle inspections and maintain strict safety and compliance standards while representing the company.

Requirements

Requires a valid Class A CDL, a minimum of 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, and mandatory TWIC and Sealink cards. Experience with manual transmissions is required, and a Hazmat endorsement is preferred.

Overseas Cargo Services Inc. is looking for experienced CDL A drivers with Pier/Port to join our team in Avenel, NJ. This position offers a mix of port, container, warehouse, and regional transportation work throughout the Northeast. No two days are exactly the same, providing drivers with a steady, challenging, and rewarding work environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Transporting import and export containers between marine terminals, rail facilities, warehouses, and customer locations
  • Operating throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintaining safety and compliance standards
  • Providing professional service while representing Overseas Cargo Services

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
  • Port/container experience preferred
  • TWIC Card required
  • Sealink Card required
  • Manual transmission experience required
  • Hazmat endorsement preferred or ability to get is a plus
  • Safe driving record
  • Strong work ethic and professional attitude
