Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility infrastructure including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Perform preventative maintenance and log data into the CMMS to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of experience in facilities or maintenance operations. Candidates must possess basic to intermediate skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Maintenance Repair Technician (MRT), where you'll play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility infrastructure and building systems. This includes electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and general facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate closely with team members, and actively contribute to maintaining safety and operational excellence.

While performing the duties of the Maintenance Repair Technician, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and work in small or confined spaces. Ladder work required. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand/eye coordination is required.
The work environment includes both indoor facility spaces and outdoor areas. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Work may be performed around heavy equipment and active operational areas.
