The Welder is responsible for interpreting blueprints and routing sheets to set up and assemble various aluminum components. Key tasks include MIG welding, grinding welds, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Requires a minimum of 6 months of related experience and a one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent on-the-job training. Proficiency in MIG welding on aluminum is mandatory and must be demonstrated via an on-site test.

The position, Welder I, is responsible for interpreting blueprints, job cards, bill of materials, and routing sheets. The Welder must be able to handle complications involving several variables which vary by customized orders. The Welder must be able to work within precise limits and have experience in MIG (aluminum).

Working conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold for extended periods of time. This position is regularly exposed to vibration, sparks, and loud noises.
