You will provide Level 2 technical support for a large Cisco collaboration environment, including design, implementation, and maintenance. Responsibilities include configuring SIP trunks, managing dial plans, and resolving complex voice quality and routing issues.
Candidates must have 5 to 7+ years of experience in Cisco Unified Communications and hold relevant certifications such as CCNP Collaboration. Strong hands-on expertise with CUCM, Webex Dedicated Instance, and CUBE is essential for this role.

You will provide Level 2 technical service across the design, implementation, support and maintenance of a large Cisco collaboration estate. Day to day, that means working across Webex Dedicated Instance, CUCM, Unity Connection and the voice infrastructure that connects it all to the outside world, keeping enterprise telephony highly available and the caller experience clean.
Expect to partner closely with the wider Networks team, the customer and telecom providers to resolve complex voice issues and deliver migrations, and to share in on call support and incident resolution alongside the team.
Deploy and support Cisco Webex Dedicated Instance, CUCM, Unity Connection and Unified Attendant Console.
Configure and troubleshoot SIP trunks, call routing, CUBE, PRI/E1 gateways and PSTN connectivity.
Support dial plan administration including translation patterns, route patterns and route groups.
Diagnose voice quality and call routing issues, escalating to carriers where needed.
Manage IVR prompts and voicemail call handlers, and keep documentation and monthly reporting current.
The Essentials
5 to 7+ years supporting Cisco Unified Communications environments in a Level 2 or higher capacity.
Strong hands on experience across Cisco Webex Dedicated Instance, CUCM, Unity Connection and Cisco Unified Attendant Console.
Cisco certifications such as CCNP Collaboration, CCNA Collaboration (legacy) or CCIE Collaboration.
Deep SIP capability across trunks, call routing and CUBE, plus PRI/E1 circuits, PSTN connectivity and Cisco voice gateway technologies.
Dial plan design experience and excellent diagnostic skills across voice quality and call routing.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication, with a strong customer service ethic and the ability to build rapport quickly with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
Bonus Points
Experience with Webex Calling, Expressway or Contact Centre solutions.
Experience supporting and maintaining Cisco routers and switches for voice traffic optimisation.
