The Platform Engineer will resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure high service availability. They will also contribute to automation projects and process improvements within a 24/7 'Follow the Sun' shift rotation.
Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for financial technology. Professional certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, or RHCSA are considered advantageous for this role.

The Role
As part of our Agile team, you will work directly with customers to resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and contribute to projects that evolve alongside the industry. This position will be responsible for delivering technical solutions to ensure service availability and suggesting improvements.
Due to the critical nature of the infrastructure and network the team operate a shift rotation to 24/7 “Follow the Sun” model. We use ITIL as a tool, not a crutch, and encourage every team member to improve processes for efficiency, correctness, and value. You will be working with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes and OpenShift in production environments with great opportunities for personal growth in terms of certifications and exposure
Typical job duties would include:
• Resolving incidents, customer escalations, and service requests.
• Upskilling on modern technologies.
• Cluster updating and patching across Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Monitoring cloud infrastructure, identifying efficiency gains, and service improvements.
• Supporting all aspects of Change Management.
• Taking initiative on project work and automation efforts.
• Enhancing documentation, processes, and reporting.
• Spotting and acting on trends in daily checklists.
• Driving innovation in tooling and service deliver.
