The Senior Accountant manages general accounting functions, including fixed asset management, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes. They also support financial reporting, audit preparation, and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal procedures.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a non-profit setting. Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and a strong understanding of accounting processes are required, with a CPA preferred.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Accountant is involved in and manages aspects of the general accounting functions, fixed asset management, and internal financial statement preparation. They will support and manage the month-end close process, ensuring all transactions are complete, accurate, and recorded in accordance with GAAP. They will also assist with salary and project allocations for global staff.
Compensation Range: $80,000– $105,000 Annually
This is a hybrid position with 2 days required in downtown Chicago office.
