The Database Support Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and security of the OFIFC Integrated Database system. They also provide technical support to users, manage database roles, and ensure data processes align with organizational strategic goals.
Candidates must have post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in database management systems and user application support is required.
Objective:
To ensure that all aspects of the OFIFC’s database system are effective, efficient and adhere to OFIFC policy and all applicable laws and regulations. Furthermore, the position will ensure that data is available to users and secure from unauthorized access.
