The Executive Director provides strategic, financial, and operational leadership to improve the quality of life for adults aged 60 and older. Key duties include driving fundraising growth, overseeing programs and staff, and serving as the primary community ambassador.
Candidates need 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with a proven track record in fundraising and financial management. A bachelor's degree is required, while a master's degree in MPA, MBA, or Nonprofit Management is preferred.

Serving the Northland region of Kansas City, NSC provides a wide range of services including Meals on Wheels, transportation, caregiver support, social engagement programs, and access to essential resources. Through a combination of professional staff and a strong network of volunteers, NSC empowers older adults to age with dignity, connection, and purpose.
The Executive Director provides strategic, financial, and operational leadership for NSC. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this role drives fundraising growth, oversees programs and staff, and serves as the organization’s primary ambassador in the community. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and strong fundraiser who thrives in a community-facing position, leads with both heart and accountability, and is passionate about advancing services that make a tangible difference in the lives of older adults.
