About the Role
Starlight Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Residential Supervisor – Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities In-Home Services to join our team full-time. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned residential group homes, supervising Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring compliance with agency and regulatory standards, and maintaining safe, high-quality living environments for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
As a Residential Supervisor, you'll provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to residential staff while responding to behavioral and environmental crisis situations as needed. You'll work closely with agency leadership to ensure consistent, person-centered care and maintain the highest standards of service.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Supervisor, Group Home Supervisor, House Manager, Residential Coordinator, or seasoned Direct Support Professional (DSP) ready to advance into a leadership role.

What You'll Do
As a Residential Supervisor, you will
Provide daily oversight of assigned residential homes to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality care, and regulatory compliance. Conduct daily visits to assigned homes at staggered times to provide oversight across all staff shifts. Complete Weekly Inspection Logs and submit them to the Residential Director every Friday. Travel regularly between assigned residential locations for routine visits and emergency situations. Conduct follow-up inspections within 24 hours whenever a home does not meet Starlight's standards and ensure corrective actions are completed. Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and residential staff, providing coaching, guidance, and ongoing support. Identify performance concerns or training opportunities and communicate them to the Residential Director for follow-up with Human Resources and clinical leadership. Participate in on-call responsibilities by responding to or delegating responses to behavioral and environmental crisis situations. Report environmental deficiencies and maintenance concerns to assigned case managers. Participate in employee coaching, counseling sessions, and disciplinary meetings as needed. Conduct required monthly staff meetings to reinforce policies, promote consistent care, and provide ongoing staff development. Document monthly staff meetings using the required DD6 form. Staff may attend in person or virtually via Google Hangouts. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and person-centered care throughout assigned residential programs.
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. One (1) year of direct supervisory experience in an adult group home, developmental disabilities program, inpatient treatment, home healthcare, or similar residential setting OR Four (4) + years of consecutive experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) working specifically with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance (required). Ability to successfully pass a WV Cares background check. Basic computer and technology skills necessary to perform administrative responsibilities. Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and participate in on-call responsibilities during emergency situations.
