As part of our energetic and talented Shared Services team, this position is responsible for providing key support to external volunteers, staff, and the Sponsored Campaign Representative team during the peak campaign period. This role coordinates gaming requests, online raffles, and 50/50 activities; manages general inquiries; and supports compliance with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) requirements for raffles under $20,000. The position also supports peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraising and other online fundraising tools as needed. This role reports to the Portfolio Manager, Digital Services.
This is a temporary full-time Monday – Friday position (36.25 hours/week) from August 10 - December 18, 2026.
Day to Day:
Administration and Coordination
- Receives gaming requests from external volunteers, ensuring compliance with AGLC regulations, issuing gaming licenses, and supporting accurate reporting.
- Maintains tracking systems for issued licenses, submits financial reports to AGLC, and follows up on outstanding raffle reporting, including traditional pull-ticket raffles.
- Administers online raffles and gaming activities by developing branded raffle pages, configuring online tools, and providing customer support throughout the process.
- Serves as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders by responding to gaming inquiries, ensuring compliance with AGLC requirements, monitoring the [email protected] inbox, and escalating issues when needed.
- Coordinates and oversees online raffle activities including ticket mailouts, physical draws, vendor invoices are submitted for payment, prize payouts, and related administrative tasks.
- Sets up peer-to-peer fundraising platforms and supports external volunteers with site content and configuration.
About you:
You are highly organized and adaptable professional to support our administrative operations, customer service initiatives, and volunteer engagement activities. You possess experience in administrative functions, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Experience with Salesforce or United Way@Work is considered an asset, as is event planning knowledge. Strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional prioritization and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to identify and escalate urgent issues when necessary are essential. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage changing priorities while maintaining a positive, service-oriented approach.
You have a can-do attitude, are outcomes driven, and approach situations with a customer focus. Thinking creatively, staying organized, and building relationships is how you thrive. You enjoy problem solving, coordinating events, and presenting to groups.
You have a high school diploma, and a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of related experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
