The Deputy Photo Editor manages the end-to-end photography production cycle, including researching and commissioning photographers and editing imagery. They are responsible for managing budgets, usage rights, and digital assets across various Monocle touchpoints.
Candidates must have at least five years of experience commissioning editorial photography for an international media brand. Proven expertise in producing fashion shoots and maintaining strong relationships with professional photographers is required.

About the role
Monocle is committed to producing, commissioning and using beautiful, high-quality imagery across all of our platforms. As part of our passionate and talented photography team, you will play a key role in the creation and production of the distinctive visual content that we are known for.
The deputy photo editor role will suit candidates with experience of commissioning and producing photography for an international media brand who understand the editorial photography production cycle. Reporting to the photography director, you will be responsible for managing projects and delivering imagery across a broad range of Monocle and Konfekt touchpoints. You will research and commission photographers, edit imagery, manage usage rights and budgets, maintain our digital asset library and work with teams across the business to support their imagery needs.
