Responsible for testing low and medium voltage products such as switchgear and panelboards to ensure they meet industry standards and client specifications. This includes performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), identifying drawing issues with engineering, and maintaining repair and calibration databases.
Requires a technical college education or equivalent training in Electrical Engineering Technologies with a CET/CTech or Electrician's license. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical equipment using specialized tools like Meggers and High Pot sets.

This role is responsible for testing low and medium voltage products including electrical Switchgear, Switchboards, Panelboards, Breaker’s and MCC’s. The Electrical Testing Technician ensures that products meet the industry standards and client specifications.
The following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. MCG retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant.
