The Cloud Solution Architect drives Azure consumption and digital transformation by designing secure, scalable data and AI architectures for enterprise customers. They act as a trusted technical advisor, leading the implementation of modern data estates using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture, data engineering, or solution consulting with hands-on Azure expertise. Preferred qualifications include Azure certifications (AZ-305, DP-600) and experience in regulated industries.
The Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) is responsible for driving Azure consumption, customer success, and digital transformation through technical leadership across Data, Analytics, and AI solutions. The CSA partners with customers, account teams, specialists, and partners to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud architectures that accelerate adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Services, AI Foundry, and related Azure capabilities.
This role combines technical depth, customer engagement, and business impact to drive Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR), customer health, Unified outcomes, and pipeline creation. The CSA serves as a trusted technical advisor for strategic enterprise customers while collaborating across Microsoft's sales and delivery ecosystem. Based on FY27 role guidance, primary focus areas include Fabric, Databricks, Purview, Databases, and Data Analytics, with adjacent responsibilities across AI Foundry and GitHub Copilot solutions.
Primary Cloud & AI Data workload focus includes Fabric, Databricks, and Databases, with adjacent capabilities across AI Foundry and GitHub Copilot.
