The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure hotel facilities remain functional. They also conduct preventive maintenance and respond to repair requests from guests and staff to maintain high guest satisfaction.
Candidates must have thorough knowledge of hand and carpentry tools with the ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs. Experience in drywall, painting, and general maintenance is required, along with the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Hilton Ocala is one of four Meyer Jabara properties in Florida. Our beautiful 196-room hotel features six spacious event rooms and a tented outdoor event space, making us a premier destination for weddings, meetings, and special events.
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer Class 2 to join our team. This hands-on position plays a critical role in ensuring our hotel remains safe, functional, and attractive for our guests and associates.
The Maintenance Engineer Class 2 contributes to the Guest Satisfaction Policy of the hotel by ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities remain in excellent working order through a strong preventive maintenance program. This position is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building upkeep.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and any applicable pre-employment screenings, in accordance with company policies and all applicable laws.
