Act as the face of Metropolis by assisting customers with parking technology and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Perform daily maintenance, patrol lots for violations, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the property.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds in all weather conditions. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and the ability to obtain a Parking Attendant License is required.
Greet and welcome guests to the parking lots and garages and offer professional services
Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help.
Handle and carefully respond to all customer inquiries on the parking lots/garages with confidence.
Patrol designated parking lots/ garages and identify vehicles without proper payment or permission.
Write and issue parking violations to parking customers and tenants who violate parking policies.
Document violations by photo using company-provided handheld device.
Maintain cleanliness in parking lots and common areas.
Communicate debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards appropriately.
Flexibility to work at a variety of different shifts.
Stand and walk throughout the garages and/or lots for prolonged periods of up to six consecutive hours to do what, exactly? Add detail here of what their responsibilities are.
Visually inspect vehicles in garages and lots; physically access all areas in all types of weather.
Repair and complete general maintenance on gate(s)
Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment
Wipe down surfaces, equipments, and Sweep floors.
Perform general maintenance of the parking lot and/or garage, including but not limited to:
Pressure washing
Power sweeping
Painting
Snow removal/salting (as needed)
Basic repairs
Pick up trash throughout the garage or lot; empty trash receptacles
Perform basic truck maintenance including cleaning, washing, oil changes, headlight replacement, and other general upkeep
Work independently and as part of the team
Observe safety precautions at all times
Perform other duties as assigned
