Train new CDL students in backing, maneuvering, and defensive driving techniques while providing real-time coaching. Evaluate trainee progress and collaborate with other instructors to improve the training program.
Requires a valid Class A CDL and at least 3 years of experience with Class A tractor trailers. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.

What You’ll Do
Train new CDL students in backing, maneuvering, road driving, and defensive driving techniques
Provide real-time coaching with clear, respectful, and constructive feedback
Demonstrate safe driving habits and professional decision-making every day
Adapt your teaching style to meet different learning personalities and experience levels
Evaluate trainee progress and identify areas needing additional coaching
Partner with fellow instructors to continually improve our training program
Help develop confident, safety-focused professional drivers
Who We’re Looking For
CDL-A required with solid driving experience
Excellent safety record and strong commitment to doing things the right way
Patient, calm, and confident when coaching others
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a wide variety of personalities
Dependable, professional, and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
Someone who enjoys helping others succeed and takes pride in seeing trainees grow

Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
At least 3 years of experience with Class A tractor trailers
Reefer experience preferred
No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
No DUIs in the past 5 years
Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and background check
