The Legal Assistant provides comprehensive support to attorneys by formatting and filing legal documents in state and federal courts. They are also responsible for managing case files, tracking deadlines, and coordinating litigation logistics for environmental and energy law matters.
Candidates should ideally have at least three years of experience in a legal or environmental agency setting and a preferred college degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and various legal software is required along with strong attention to detail.

successful applicant must reside in or near, or be willing to relocate, to
Seattle and work four days a week in office (M, T, Th, F).

Legal
Assistants are vital
to our success and are valued for increasing the firm’s productivity and
efficiency. This position includes managing the work product of 20+ busy,
committed lawyers performing complex work across the country. This is a

ideally has at least three years’ experience working in a law firm; local,
state or federal attorneys’ office; state government’ environmental NGO; or
environmental agency.

most part, ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office
equipment as found in a typical office environment. Occasionally
longer hours as required to complete job responsibilities based
on deadlines and time requirements.
