Join Our AI-Powered Cloud Engineering Team

At Mainstream, we're building the next generation of cloud operations by combining deep cloud expertise with AI-powered automation and intelligent operations. We're looking for motivated Senior Cloud Engineers who are eager to thrive in an AI-powered cloud environment while working with modern cloud technologies and enterprise infrastructure.

As part of our Cloud Engineering team, you will support enterprise environments, monitor mission-critical systems, resolve operational incidents, and learn modern cloud technologies while helping our customers maintain secure, scalable and reliable cloud platforms.

What you'll do

• Design, implement and optimize cloud infrastructure and platform architecture

• Lead complex infrastructure projects and technical improvements

• Provide L3 support by troubleshooting complex infrastructure incidents and performing root cause analysis

• Drive automation using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools

• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability and operational efficiency

• Define and promote DevOps, incident management and security best practices

• Create and maintain technical architecture documentation, operational procedures and runbooks

• Lead knowledge transfer sessions, mentor engineers and support technical growth across the team

• Continuously drive cloud, automation and digital transformation initiatives

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud, Linux System Administration, Infrastructure or DevOps roles

• Experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise production environments

• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers

• Strong analytical thinking and structured troubleshooting approach

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Fluent English

Experience with some, not all, of the following technologies is expected:

• Operating Systems: Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu and similar), including network, system and application services

• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, troubleshooting

• Infrastructure & Virtualization: VMware and/or Citrix XenServer, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), Configuration Management (Ansible)

• Automation & Scripting: Bash and/or Python scripting, CI/CD fundamentals, Jenkins (nice to have)

• Containers & Cloud Native: Docker, Kubernetes

• Databases & Web Technologies: Apache, Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL / MariaDB / Percona, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Memcached

• High Availability & Monitoring: HAProxy, Keepalived, Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus
