You will drive the full embedded software development lifecycle for medical devices, from initial concept to final release. This includes taking technical ownership of features, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in computer science or software engineering and possesses strong proficiency in C and C++. You must have solid experience in embedded systems development and a structured, quality-focused approach to working in regulated environments.

At Diagnostics, we develop innovative solutions that improve quality of life for people worldwide. As part of our global R&D organisation, you will contribute to products across brands and technologies, working closely with skilled colleagues throughout the product lifecycle. You will join a company where engineering excellence is at the core, and where your contributions help bring new medical technologies to market in a highly regulated MedTech environment.
You will report to the R&D team leader embedded software. You will become part of a team of dedicated embedded software specialists who value collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a supportive working environment.
In this role, you will work across the full embedded software stack, contributing to the development of advanced medical devices used in hearing and balance diagnostics. You will take ownership of key functionalities and play a central role in ensuring robust, high-quality solutions in a regulated environment.
The position is based at our Interacoustics headquarters in Middelfart or Maico headquarter Berlin, with flexibility to work from home when tasks allow.
To succeed in this role, you bring strong technical expertise combined with a structured and quality-focused approach. You are comfortable working in complex environments and collaborate effectively with colleagues across engineering disciplines.
