The Safety Professional oversees construction project safety, health, and risk management by developing site-specific safety plans. They collaborate with project management and general contractors to implement mitigation plans and lead the Operational Risk Management process.
Candidates need varying levels of experience based on education, ranging from 2 years with a bachelor's degree to 8 years with a high school diploma. Expertise in OSHA, EM-385 1-1, and safety management systems is required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree and professional safety certifications.
Position Summary: The Safety Professional is responsible for oversight of Construction Project Safety, Health (S&H), and Risk Management, effectively managing multiple Safety programs, developing and implementing M.C. Dean site-specific project safety plans, and collaborating with Project Management in the implementation and leadership of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) process.
