The Deputy Project Leader provides technical expertise and operational coordination to ensure regional performance objectives are met. Responsibilities include supervising employees, managing project budgets, and serving as the primary technical resource for complex troubleshooting and diagnostics.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred, along with at least five years of experience working for an electrical or construction contractor. Candidates must be proficient in CPM scheduling and tools like Accubid and Primavera P6, with experience managing projects between $500k and $10M.
The Deputy Project Manager is a training position that consists of learning how to supervise and direct the employees on a particular project, prepare strategic plans and budgets, develop a comprehensive project plan, and analyze statistical data.
This position provides advanced technical expertise, customer support, operational coordination, technician development, and project execution support to ensure regional performance objectives are achieved. The RSL is responsible for technical escalations, complex troubleshooting, project quoting, onboarding and development of technicians, and assisting with daily operational activities.
