DESIGN ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL (power, elv, lighting, medical systems)

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the electrical design lifecycle for modern healthcare facilities. You will bridge the gap between architectural vision and technical execution, ensuring that power, lighting, ELV (Extra Low Voltage), and critical medical systems are seamlessly integrated, energy-efficient, and fully compliant with international safety standards.

Your role: 

• To design and coordinate comprehensive electrical systems for healthcare facilities and building infrastructure
• To prepare detailed technical documentation, layouts, schematics, load calculations, and Bills of Quantities
• To develop and integrate power distribution, lighting, ELV, and special systems (e.g., nurse call, medical IT, fire alarms)
• To contribute to energy efficiency strategies and the integration of robust backup power systems
• To collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, BIM coordinators, and various project stakeholders to ensure cohesive integrated designs
• To participate in design coordination meetings and review supplier data and system interfaces
• To act as a technical bridge, coordinating multidisciplinary inputs (MEP, architecture, IT security) to ensure cohesive project delivery
• To ensure all designs strictly comply with hospital requirements and rigorous electrical safety standards
• To provide technical support during the tendering processes and resolve technical queries during the construction phase

What we think the right candidate should look like:

• University Degree in electrical engineering
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design of buildings
• Flexible approach and ability to cooperate with professionals located abroad
• Flexibility to travel abroad – about 4 – 6 travels per year
• English – very good for active use (+ all the norms are in Englis)
