Assists professional nursing staff in providing comprehensive patient care and support with activities of daily living. Responsible for monitoring vital signs, maintaining a clean patient environment, and assisting with admissions and discharges.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a current Nursing Assistant Certification with BLS certification. A minimum of six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility is required.
Kindred Hospital Paramount and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is 177-bed hospital. With 159 long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) beds, we offer the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. Our 18-bed ARU is designed for people who have experience the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness and like the LTACH, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness.
Job Summary
Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of professional nursing personnel.
