The associate will support a wide variety of M&A and private equity deals, including drafting transaction documents and managing complex transactions to closing. They will also be responsible for conducting corporate due diligence projects and providing counsel on corporate governance and federal securities laws.
Candidates must have at least 3+ years of relevant transactional experience, preferably in a mid to large law firm. Excellent academic credentials are required for all applicants.
The associate should have experience in M&A transactions and the ability to support others on a wide variety of deals—particularly M&A and private equity deals; the ability to draft M&A transaction documents; experience with corporate due diligence projects; the ability to manage complex transactions to closing; familiarity with corporate governance principles; and familiarity with federal securities laws. All applicants should have excellent academic credentials. Candidate can be based in one of the following KTS offices: Menlo Park, CA or San Francisco, CA.
