Full job description

Description

Keches Law Group, P.C. is a well-established, 50+ attorney law firm with offices in Milton, Bridgewater, and Worcester, practicing in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and medical malpractice.

Keches Law Group is seeking a Bilingual-Spanish Speaking Pre-Litigation Case Specialist to support the progression of personal injury and workers’ compensation cases from intake through demand and resolution.

This role blends legal case support, medical coordination, and pre-litigation claim development. You will serve as a primary point of coordination across clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and attorneys—ensuring that cases are progressing efficiently, documentation is complete, and clients are supported throughout the process.

This is a highly client-facing, operational role with ownership over a caseload and responsibility for helping move cases toward successful resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management & Progression

  • Manage a caseload of pre-litigation matters from intake through demand and resolution
  • Proactively drive case progression by identifying next steps and removing delays
  • Ensure cases are moving efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Monitor treatment progress, documentation status, and case readiness throughout the lifecycle of the claim

Medical Documentation & Case Development

  • Monitor treatment status and medical documentation to support claim progression and demand readiness
  • Work closely with Medical Care Coordinators to ensure records, bills, and treatment updates are obtained timely
  • Evaluate treatment progression and outstanding documentation as part of overall case development and settlement strategy
  • Ensure medical information is properly organized and incorporated into demands, negotiations, and case evaluation

Documentation & Case Development

  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date case files
  • Draft demand letters, case summaries, and supporting documentation
  • Compile and review medical records, bills, wage information, and other key materials
  • Ensure case documentation is complete and organized to support negotiation and resolution efforts

Negotiation & Resolution Support

  • Participate in pre-litigation settlement negotiations and communications with insurance carriers and third parties
  • Assist in evaluating case progression, treatment status, and damages to support settlement strategy
  • Prepare demand-related documentation, treatment summaries, and supporting materials for negotiation
  • Maintain consistent communication with adjusters regarding outstanding records, offers, and claim developments
  • Partner with attorneys and leadership to help drive cases toward timely and favorable resolution

Client Communication

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the case process
  • Provide updates, set expectations, and guide clients through the progression of their claim
  • Assist with insurance questions, billing issues, and general support needs
  • Deliver a high level of client service and responsiveness throughout the lifecycle of the case

Attorney & Team Collaboration

  • Partner closely with attorneys to support case strategy and development
  • Assist with litigation preparation as needed, including file organization and deadline tracking
  • Collaborate with Medical Care Coordinators and other team members to ensure seamless case handling and progression

Systems & Tracking

  • Utilize Litify to manage case activity and maintain records
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates across all systems
  • Track key milestones and maintain visibility into case status and progression

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in personal injury and/or workers’ compensation case management, claims, paralegal, or related legal support work
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Strong understanding of pre-litigation workflows, medical treatment coordination, and settlement processes
  • Experience working with medical records, treatment coordination, and demand preparation
  • Familiarity with insurance claims handling and negotiation processes preferred
  • Proficiency with case management systems such as Litify
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills

Schedule

  • On-site position
  • Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Full-time
  • After the training period, one work-from-home day per week can be scheduled
