The Workshop Section Head is responsible for setting objectives, managing resources, and ensuring continuous improvement in daily workshop operations. They monitor policy implementation and collaborate with the Body and Paint Workshop Manager to meet customer agreements.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent degree. They require 4-6 years of experience in service operations at a reputable dealership, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
The Workshop Section Head will set objectives, provide guidelines, and ensure continuous improvement in daily workshop operations. They will monitor policy implementation, manage resources, and analyze work deviations to meet customer agreements. Monthly targets will be communicated, and deductions for damages will be implemented. The manager will identify necessary resources within the budget, assign tasks, and collaborate with the Body and Paint Workshop Manager for interventions requiring both vehicle bodywork and electromechanical work.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or any equivalent degree.
- 4-6 experience in-service operation in a reputable dealership of which 2 years should be in a Managerial capacity.
- Advanced understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership, situational awareness, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English (verbal and written).
