About the Role
The Superintendent – Community Projects is responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of community infrastructure projects under K92’s strategic community investment portfolio. These projects are central to the company’s commitments under the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and support local-level government priorities. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards while maximising local participation and ensuring long-term sustainability outcomes.

Key Accountabilities
This position manages the Community Infrastructure & Asset Delivery Standard within the Social Performance Management System (SPMS) and oversees the material issue of Strategic Community Investment – Infrastructure Delivery. Responsibilities include:

• Leadership & Project Oversight – Supervise the Community Projects team, prepare annual budgets and schedules, and manage contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.
• Systems & Standards Management – Own and apply the Community Infrastructure & Asset Delivery Standard, ensuring documentation, reporting, and quality assurance systems are maintained.
• Strategic Community Investment – Deliver projects aligned with MOA commitments, government development plans, and community priorities, while tracking long-term social benefits.
• Collaboration & Integration – Work closely with Business Development, Community Affairs, and government authorities to secure permits, approvals, and contractor engagement.
• Commitment & Expectation Management – Ensure transparency with communities, manage expectations, and safeguard K92’s social licence to operate.
