The Material Handler is responsible for the verification, acceptance, and distribution of deliveries while maintaining accurate inventory records in the ERP system. They also manage the organization of storage areas and support production lines through efficient picking and kitting processes.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a similar role and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. A clean driving license is required, and a forklift license is considered a distinct advantage.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, control, and distribution of materials to support manufacturing operations. The Material Handler will maintain accurate inventory records, ensure timely material availability, and uphold quality, safety, and regulatory standards to support the successful delivery of products at ICS Medical Devices.
Handling, verification, acceptance and put-away/distribution of all deliveries to ICS Medical Devices.
Accurate receipt/update of deliveries against Purchase Orders to ERP system, with consequent inventory update.
Daily organisation of the materials stored in storage facilities and external yard areas, incl. ongoing housekeeping/maintenance of these areas.
Picking and kitting of materials for delivery to the production areas, servicing of internal production line kanban systems, and responding to material requests in a timely manner.
Communicate/Liaise with Production Team Leads / Project Leads and other Functions and deliver services to all manufacturing areas based on service level agreements.
Perform materials cycle-counting as required, recording and publishing results.
Adhere to all procedures /SOP’s within the company.
Adhere to all Company Quality requirements in relation to materials handling, materials preservation or documentation.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum of Leaving Certificate required or equivalent.
1+ years’ experience in a similar role is a distinct advantage.
Must be proficient in word, excel and outlook.
Have a current clean driving license.
Current forklift license is a distinct advantage but training can be provided.
Flexible working hours: Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.
Self-motivated, working with limited supervision.
Ability to prioritise, organise and multitask to perform daily workload cross- functionally.
Adaptable within an ever-changing working environment.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Understanding of and adherence to Company Health & Safety Regulations.
Always be professional and courteous with fellow staff and customers.
Reliable timekeeping and strong attendance are essential to meet production timelines and ensure smooth team operations
Experience working in a fast-paced SME or start-up environment.
